Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological status of patients, determine diagnoses, and tailor treatment approaches effectively. \n
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each patient. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to deliver high-quality care. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional support, personal growth, and the enhancement of coping skills. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to promote a better understanding of their conditions. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to stay current with best practices. \n
- Consistently review and integrate the latest research and regulatory developments in mental health therapy into your practice. \n
You will be working primarily with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders (such as depression), personality disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing their emotional well-being, improving coping strategies, and fostering resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Must possess a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care practices. \n
- Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills that enable the creation of effective treatment plans. \n
- Proficient in delivering individual and group therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic techniques. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and their family members. \n
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and various computer applications related to telehealth services. \n

- Two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred to ensure a higher level of expertise in managing complex cases. \n
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly in crisis situations. \n
- A history of successful collaborative work as part of a multidisciplinary team. \n
The salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
