Electrical Test Technician

Global leader in motion and control technologies is hiring for a Test Technician for their Hauppauge manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Experience with component level testing
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, muti-meters and voltmeters
• Ability to work and understand blueprints and schematics 
• Assembles, tests, and/or solders to customer requirement
• Performs complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools
  mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a  manufacturing environment.
• Trouble shoots and resolves most set up problems independently.
• Troubleshoots and reworks malfunctions disclosed by test data independently.
• Performs diagnostic teardown and rebuilding of product, including evaluation of suitability of components, according to customer specifications.
• Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications.
