CNC Machine Operator

$18 - $20 per hour

Miller Brother Staffing in Lancaster, PA has the immediate need of experienced Machine Operators for 1st shift.

Pay Rate - $18-$20/hour based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday
1 st shift 7:00-3:00

Most important things:

Must have machine operating experience and clean background.

Attendance
Organizational skills
Ability to interpret work orders
Able to speak English

Job Description/Duties

Set up, operate, run parts, and adjust as needed
Ability to set up tools, adjust offsets, tool lengths etc
Check parts to verify they are in spec and submit to QC for verification
Responsible for cleaning the CNC machines and other maintaining proper coolant levels
Capable of holding tolerances
Will be training new operators
Moving, carrying, lifting, objects in excess of 50 pounds
Working 8 hours and standing for extended periods of time

Requirements:

Seeking candidates with manufacturing and machine operation experience. Experience operating CNC machines preferred not required
Ability to set up and operate machines
Must be able to work independently and at a steady pace
Must be able to multitask
High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of a formal training or apprenticeship program
Familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC software
Comfortable using tools and maintaining machinery
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Values precision and enforces quality standards

Physical Demands:
Must be able to 35 lbs constantly. Must be able to squat, bend, twist, and stand for duration of entire shift.
