AFRC T56 CRF Supervisory Position

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the AFRC T56 CRF, ensuring that the quality system complies with the legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Represents the AFRC T56 CRF with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Performs Contracting Officer Representative (COR) duties within the AFRC T56 CRF.

Assembles and analyzes data for the preparation of charts, graphs, reports, and talking papers, and conducts briefings as required.

May travel by military or commercial air to conferences, meetings, or other functions away from the duty site.

This is a Supervisory Position. A 1-year supervisory probationary period is required if applicant selected has not previously met this requirement.

This is a Centrally Managed Position in the 1910 Series, Quality Assurance Series, Administrative and Management.

This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Quality Assurance, Series 1910. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas.

Knowledge of quality assurance/control methods, principles, and practices and procedures.

Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.

Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Considerable Knowledge of propulsion production and repair processes performed in the Centralized Repair Facility.

Considerable knowledge of Contracting Officer Representative regulations, processes and duties.
