DESCRIPTION:

PSCI is seeking qualified Telephone Operator I candidates to support 24/7/365 telephone operations at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. These positions are being recruited contingent upon PSCI receiving contract award .

Telephone Operators provide professional, timely, and accurate telephone communications support for Veterans, VA personnel, medical staff, patients, family members, and the public. Operators must maintain a high level of customer service, accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in a mission-critical healthcare environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answer and route incoming telephone calls accurately and professionally.
• Provide telephone information and assistance consistent with VA procedures.
• Process routine, priority, emergency, and other designated calls.
• Maintain familiarity with VA departments, personnel, services, and telephone routing requirements.
• Follow established procedures for emergency notifications, after-hours calls, and escalation.
• Protect sensitive information and comply with applicable privacy and security requirements.
• Participate in initial and recurring training, cross-training, quality reviews, and operational-readiness activities.
• Provide coverage for other qualified operators when required for approved leave or unexpected absences.
• Perform other telephone-operations-related duties within the contract scope as assigned by the PM/Supervisor.

• Location: Kansas City VA Medical Center — Kansas City, Missouri.
• Shift: Day Shift – 8am to 4:30pm; Full Time (40 Hours a Week).
• Pay Rate: $17.89/Hr. plus Health and Welfare.
• Worker will work on-site Full Time.
• No Clearance.
• Must be US Citizen.
• Status: CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

MANDATORY:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally by telephone.
• Ability to operate telephone, computer, and related communications systems.
• Ability to accurately receive, process, and relay information.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to successfully complete required background, security, onboarding, and customer-specific requirements.
• Important: This position is contingent upon contract award to PSCI and final Government approval/start authorization.
