Position Information Position/Rank: Academic Pediatric (Medical) Psychologist / Rank Dependent on Qualifications Department: 00848 - Pediatric Administration City: Salt Lake City, UT Track: Track Dependent on Qualifications New Position to Begin: Details The Academic Pediatric (Medical) Psychologist will provide direct patient care in our University Development Assessment Clinics ( UDAC ). UDAC evaluates children with developmental disabilities or children with developmental concerns. The psychologist will work in all clinical programs at UDAC including the Child Development Clinic, Neonatal Follow-up Program, and Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program. In addition to clinical service, there is an expectation for participation in educating future health care providers, conducting research, and engaging in advocacy for children with special health care needs and medical complexity. Qualified candidates must hold a Doctoral level degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited program and have completed 1 year of post-licensure experience. Experience in teaching and quality improvement projects is preferred. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
