Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Join a dynamic Emergency Department team focused on providing exceptional patient care. This fast-paced unit is dedicated to working together as a cohesive team while fostering a caring environment for all patients.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 39
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 (with surge beds assigned to each section)
• Staffing Description: Includes a free lead, unit clerk, behavioral health sitters, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs.
• Type of Equipment: Rapid Infuser, Glidescope
• Documentation System: Meditech EDM
• Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend
• Floating Policy: N/A
• Patient Experience Focus: Emphasis on teamwork in care and individual attention to patients.

Qualifications:

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings, with competence in managing critical care infusions, sedation practices, ESI, and acute codes.
• Advanced Skills: Proficiency in handling STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis cases, with preferred experience in Trauma.
• Procedures Performed: Intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting.
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.

Dress Code:

Charcoal grey scrubs are required for all staff.
