Activities Aide

Premier Rehab & Healthcare at Burlington is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Activities Aide to join our team!

As an Activities Aide, you will help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents by assisting with recreational programs, group activities, entertainment, holiday events, and special outings. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with seniors, building relationships, and helping residents stay active and connected.

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and group activities for residents

• Help organize entertainment, holiday celebrations, games, social events, and special programs

• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities

• Provide support and companionship to residents during activities

• Transport or assist with transporting residents to and from activities as needed

• Accompany residents on special events and community outings

• Facilitate activities while prioritizing resident safety and comfort

• Communicate with residents, families, and facility staff as needed

• Encourage family participation in activities and special events

• Set up and clean activity areas before and after programs

• Organize, maintain, and store activity equipment and supplies

• Help create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience working with seniors, long-term care, skilled nursing, healthcare, recreation, or activities preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and organized

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Enjoys working with seniors and engaging with residents

• Ability to work independently while also working as part of a team

• Ability to work the required schedule and rotation
