About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Commercial Lender to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new commercial banking relationships, growing existing client accounts, and delivering sound lending solutions that support the growth of both clients and the bank. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in commercial lending, including credit analysis, loan structuring, and portfolio administration. The VP Commercial Lender will be expected to have a consultative approach to business development, strong credit judgment, and the ability to manage a high-quality commercial portfolio from origination to ongoing servicing. Applicants for the VP Commercial Lender position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, and at least 3 years of commercial lending experience within a banking environment. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in business development, relationship management, and generating profitable commercial loan growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of banking regulations, lending policies, and prudent risk management practices, as well as excellent communication and client service skills. Responsibilities also include making credit decisions, overseeing the commercial loan process, and partnering with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver effective banking solutions for commercial clients.
