Fall/Spring 2026/2027 Engineering Co-Op

Description As an Engineering Co-op, you'll work alongside experienced engineering professionals to gain hands‑on experience in the sand casting industry. This role offers valuable exposure to a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where you'll develop technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills while contributing to real‑world engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing operations through process control and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with product and process development projects focused on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions. Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Prepare technical documentation, update work instructions, and contribute to engineering reports and project documentation. Learn and apply industry standards, quality systems, and best practices related to sand casting and manufacturing processes. Participate in cross‑functional projects that support operational excellence and continuous improvement. What You’ll Gain Hands‑on engineering experience in the aerospace sand casting industry.
