Trusted Locum Staffing is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Olean, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative oncology team while providing high-quality care to adult hematology and oncology patients.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients
Conduct follow-up visits and treatment assessments
Manage chemotherapy-related side effects and supportive care needs
Review laboratory and diagnostic results
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, infusion staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in patient education and treatment planning

Qualifications Required

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
Active New York license or ability to obtain
DEA (if applicable)
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

Ideal Candidate

Experience working in outpatient oncology or infusion settings
Comfortable managing complex oncology patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for providing compassionate cancer care
