The Opportunity This is the General Manager in Training (GMIT) seat — the performance-based path that takes a proven sales and leadership professional and develops them into a full ECA General Manager with their own club to run. This is not an entry-level role and it’s not for someone learning to lead for the first time. It’s for the leader who has already carried a team, owned a number, and closed at a high level — and is now ready to master The ECA Way and step into a GM seat. You bring the track record. We give you the system, the mentorship, and the path. You earn the keys. Why This Path Is Different Earn While You Train, Then Uncap It — Real income from day one on our performance-based model, scaling to $100K–$150K+ once you’re running a club. (Full breakdown below.) Your Pace, Your Seat — No calendar-based promotions. We’re opening clubs across the greater Seattle area, so the seats are real and there’s more than one. Hit the standard and a club is yours — the best performer gets the first opening. Growth With No Ceiling — We’re expanding to 22 locations. Prove yourself here and the path keeps going: GM, multi-club leadership, and beyond. At ECA, performance is directly tied to opportunity. The best performer gets the first opening. Outwork the field and you’ll be running your own club in a matter of months, not years. Here’s what you’ll be developed and measured on before you get the keys: Master The ECA Way — Learn and execute the 7 Habits, our service systems, and the dialogue that drives our member experience until it’s second nature, not a script. Lead From the Front — Prospect, drive guest traffic, deliver tours, and close memberships at the standard. You’ll personally produce while you learn to lead others who produce. Deliver the Service — Run first workouts, reprograms, and the service appointments that turn new members into lifelong results stories. You can’t lead a team to a standard you can’t hit yourself. Build & Develop People — Step into recruiting, training, and developing the team using our tell–show–do–evaluate–redirect process. A leader’s team is a direct reflection of their leadership. Run the Numbers — Learn to read the stock report, manage payroll control, hit 100% of quota, and operate the club with an owner’s mindset. By the end, you’ll own the three responsibilities every ECA GM is accountable for: hitting 100% of quota, building a high-performing team, and ensuring the consistent execution of the 7 Habits. What You Can Earn — Now, and What’s Next We’re performance-based, top to bottom. Your income reflects your production — there’s no waiting on a raise tied to a calendar. While You Train (Now): You earn on our hourly-versus-commission model while you produce on the floor — selling memberships, training programs, and services from day one. You’re building the club and getting paid on what you produce. The right candidate earns in the $75,000–$100,000 range during the development phase. Once You Earn Your Club (Next): Step into a GM seat and the ceiling comes off — $100,000–$150,000+ per year through base salary, commissions on your personal production, performance bonuses, and a share of your club’s profitability. Your club, your number, your upside. The gap between those two isn’t time. It’s performance. Close it as fast as you can.
