Onsite EOB Specialist Opportunity! Weekly pay! $32+ per hour!
- Denial Management: Reviews EOBs and payment data to identify claim edits, pended claims, underpayments, and denials.
- Appeals & Re-billing: Drafts and submits appropriate responses (e.g., claims information forms or re-bills) to insurance companies and third-party payers.
- Claim Review: Determines accuracy of medical, coding, eligibility, and authorization information, and institutes required corrections.
- Record Keeping: Updates the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and hospital computer systems to reflect payer correspondence and denial status.
- Collaboration: Works closely with case managers, billing supervisors, and insurance authorization specialists to resolve coverage disputes
