Construction Project Manager

Job Overview BCM is a General Contractor seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in project management, construction estimating, and construction management will drive efficiency and quality across all project activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse construction initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the successful realization of complex infrastructure or building projects. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards. Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or other construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals. Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings such as Civil 3D files to verify accuracy and feasibility before construction begins. Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and HeavyBid to secure materials and services at optimal costs. Oversee construction site activities ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions swiftly. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, budgets, change orders, contracts, and progress reports. Foster strong project coordination among teams to ensure seamless workflow from foundation to finishing touches. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a solid background in construction site activities and project coordination. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating processes. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and time management to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality or safety standards. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Prior experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects is preferred. Construction site experience combined with a thorough understanding of safety protocols is essential.
