Senior Combat Designer

To shape the long-term combat and gameplay experiences for millions of players, the full-time Senior Combat Designer will design and balance combat gameplay for PvE, PvP, and co-op content, working in a hybrid environment from Dublin or Barcelona, or remotely from London. Key responsibilities Own the design and balance of combat gameplay to support strategic player decisions Build and refine novel gameplay experiences focused on officers, ship tech, and hostile challenges Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features that enhance the game genre Required qualifications 6+ years of experience designing combat and gameplay systems for live, F2P games, preferably in MMO, 4X, or strategy genres Strong ownership mindset with a proven track record of delivering engaging features Mastery of spreadsheets for balancing power curves, pacing, and resource flow Experience working cross-functionally in live production environments A deep passion for combat and gameplay design
