Receiving Associate

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team and play a key role in warehouse operations. In this position, you'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming inventory while helping maintain accurate stock levels and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Pay: $19.00/hr

Receiving Associate Available Shifts:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm, Sunday-Thursday

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders
• Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
• Communicate discrepancies, damages, or shortages to appropriate team members
• Assist with inventory data entry and purchasing record updates
• Support purchasing activities, including placing orders and following up with vendors as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment (5S standards)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory flow
• Accurately pick, pack, and support order fulfillment as needed
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained
• Experience with inventory systems, audits, or purchasing functions
