Location: Alachua, FL

Pay: $18.50-$22.50

Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 2:00pm - 1:00am

Job Summary:

The Yard Specialist is a Certified Motor Vehicle Operator who operates primarily out of the truck yard at the G&C Foods facility. The Yard Specialist is responsible for the fleet of trucks and trailers, including placement, inspection, and general maintenance of the equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Performs daily yard equipment inventory at the start of each shift
• Transports equipment to and from maintenance garages as needed
• Updates the dispatch board in Operations as needed
• Cleans trailers internally before loading of product
• Change DEF as needed
• Empty garbage bin near fuel station as needed
• Performs other functions as needed or directed by Transportation Management

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
