Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN - PACU with a minimum of 1 year of PACU experience and BLS/ACLS certification for a surgery center setting.

Details

• Work in the Recovery Room (PACU) of a surgery center
• Patient population includes General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Ortho (Sports/Joints), and Spine pain procedures
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• EMR: SIS / Paper charting
• Schedule is 5 days per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Floating required to all surgery centers on an as-needed basis
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience required
• GI Recovery and Pain Recovery experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care across a variety of surgical specialties
• Best suited for candidates who are flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team includes an Admin, Director, Charge Nurse, and 5-7 RNs depending on volume
• No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
