High Value Residential Insurance Inspector

Signature Companies is looking to add a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector to cover the Western Missouri & Kansas areas. Job Overview We are seeking independent contractors (1099) who are self‑started, self‑motivated and self‑directed. The role involves conducting on‑site high‑value property surveys, completing web‑based reports, and communicating findings to underwriters. Responsibilities Schedule and conduct on‑site High Value Property Surveys. Coordinate and complete surveys within your own schedule and manage work assignments. Visit properties, take photos and measurements, and note issues for underwriters. Interact professionally with homeowners and insurance agents via phone, email, and in‑person. Drive to and conduct on‑site property surveys on high‑value homes following customer‑specific guidelines and procedures. Identify and document construction materials/characteristics and unique features of the home. Obtain measurements of the home and other structures on the property. Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards. Communicate the information gathered during on‑site inspection in Loss Control 360 accessed through the Signature website. Work from your home office. Requirements Prior underwriting experience desirable. Prior inspection experience on residential homes desirable. Loss control experience desirable. Strong oral and written communication skills. Professionalism is key. Construction experience desired, but not required. BA or BS degree desired, but not required. Must have a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer. Late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance. High‑speed internet. Digital camera or smartphone with 16 MP camera or greater, measuring devices such as a laser or soft tape measure or measuring wheel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
