Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role involves managing critically ill newborns and supporting their families through complex clinical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonates to identify changes in condition and respond accordingly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Educate families on newborn care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon or Washington State RN license or proof of application with fingerprinting.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience in an acute care setting.
• Epic experience is required; successful completion of Epic training or test-out.
• BLS, NRP, and advanced certifications relevant to neonatal care.
• Ability to work flexible night shifts (3x12 hours) and adapt to floating between facilities.
