Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36/48-Hour Alternating Weekly Schedule (84 hours biweekly scheduled, 72-hour guarantee)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting during night shift hours (18:00–06:00)
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using electronic health record systems
• Respond to trauma and critical care situations in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience; experience in a high-volume or trauma facility may be considered in lieu of 3 years
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Active Nursys verification required at time of submission
• SSN/RTO required with submission
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers will not be considered
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
