These are groundbreaking medical devices that utilize robotics, machine learning and vision systems to deliver critical results for everything from COVID-19 antibodies to tumor markers. If you thrive in a cross-functional, goal-oriented, fast-paced role and want to work in a world-class Research and Development organization—read on.This position reports to the Systems Engineering Manager and is part of the Systems Engineering Organization located in Chaska, Minnesota and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Work with fluidics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pressure sensors, and vision systems on a software-controlled medical diagnostic analyzer.Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple product teams to define, manage, and test system requirements.Understand customer workflows and support hardware and software changes to make product usability and reliability improvements.Work with cross-functional teams to quickly investigate and identify solutions for new product issues at customer sites.Participate in test method development, characterization, and risk reduction activities.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree within one of the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.Strong verbal and written communicationsAbility to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Up to 10% global travel requiredIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Medical regulated experience or experience in a regulated environmentExperience utilizing software log files to investigate failuresExperience troubleshooting technical issuesBeckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
