What You'll Do

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll be a vital part of each patient's experience by:

• Creating a welcoming and compassionate patient experience throughout the clinic
• Performing comprehensive patient work-ups, including visual acuity, refractions, intraocular pressures, medication reconciliation, medical history, and scribing
• Conducting advanced diagnostic testing including OCT, visual fields, topography, biometry, pachymetry, fundus photography, and other ophthalmic imaging
• Preparing patients for examinations and assisting providers in delivering efficient, high-quality care
• Educating patients about procedures, treatment plans, and next steps
• Maintaining accurate documentation within our electronic medical record
• Supporting clinic flow while ensuring safety, quality, and exceptional service

Qualifications

• Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician, required
• Strong understanding of ophthalmic terminology and diagnostic testing
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and people skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Bilingual or COA, a plus
