At Alisio’s, every dish tells a story and you play an important role in delivering that experience to our guests. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.As a FOOD RUNNER, you will help ensure a smooth and seamless service, delivering dishes with care and supporting the team in creating a positive and memorable dining experience for every guest.Job Responsibilities:Deliver food to guests quickly, efficiently and accuratelyWarmly greet and engage with guestsObtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus, dishes, ingredients, substitutions, and allergens to properly educate guestsAttentively scan the dining room for customer needs, empty server ware, refillsProvide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring guests are enjoying their meals and have everything they need after delivery of foodTake initiative to correct any issues that may arise with a positive attitudeKeep food running station clean and organized at all timesSafely and neatly package leftovers and to-go itemsPromote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting front of house team members including servers, bussers, hosts and bartendersEfficiently communicate food orders to back of house, paying close attention to priorities and special requests (e.g food allergies)Perform calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environmentAssist with routine cleaning responsibilitiesComply with health and safety codesQualifications:Team player with a positive attitudeStrong customer service skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsPositive interpersonal skillsService experience in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of spirits, wine and foodAwareness of basic safety and sanitation policiesAble to acquire a California Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment and Alcoholic Beverage (ABC) certifications (before or within 2 weeks of hiring)A Few Reasons Why You'll Love Your Job:Opportunity to be a part of a growing passionate company and teamUnique opportunity to bridge cultures through foodBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KFamily meals providedEqual Employment Opportunities (EEO):Alisio’s provides employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, nation origin, age, disability, genetics and other protected classes.
