IR Tech — Charleston, SC

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days, 4x10s (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM), with rotating day off; occasionally 7 AM–7:30 PM
• Daily caseload per tech: 5–8
• On-call: Required — 1 weeknight every other week, 1–2 weekends within contract, 1 possible holiday, possible disaster team weekend
• No floating between service lines or to sister facilities
• Scrub color: Navy

About the Facility

• Level I Trauma Center
• Total staffed beds: 865

Case Mix

• Required: Vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, PE thrombectomy
• Preferred: Y90 implant, trauma embolization, TIPS

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required; first-timers to travel accepted
• ARRT (R) required
• SCRQSA required (South Carolina radiologic technologist licensure/registration)
• BLS required
