Day Shift | 4x10 Hours | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong OR experience with circulating and scrubbing skills across multiple surgical specialties in a high-volume operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures
• Monitor patient safety and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures within Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as required

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Circulate and Scrub experience REQUIRED
• BLS Certification required
• Experience with:
  • General Surgery
  • Neuro & Spine Procedures
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Robotics
  • Urology
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Colorectal Procedures
• Experience with Epic and Pyxis preferred
