Chief Financial Officer

We are a locally owned vertically integrated apple growing and packing operation. We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance and accounting functions and partner with ownership to drive growth and operational excellence.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) located in Yakima, WA. The CFO will serve as a key advisor to ownership and member of the executive team, lead all financial functions: accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and compliance. Responsibilities also include managing cash flow, credit facilities, financing strategies across multiple entities, analyzing financial performance, identifying strategies to optimize financial outcomes, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and procedures. The CFO will play an integral role in guiding the company’s fiscal strategy and supporting organizational growth and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus)
• 7+ years progressive financial leadership experience (agriculture/production experience strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cash management, and cost accounting
• Demonstrated strength in Financial Reporting and Analytical Skills
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Extensive experience in financial management and demonstrated success in a similar leadership role
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
