Job Title: Distribution Worker Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Worker to join our logistics team for the 2nd shift, from 3 pm to 11 pm (or 2 pm to 10:30 pm when working 10-hour shifts) at our West Campus in Auburn Hills, MI. You will play a vital role as a point of contact for inbound and outbound shipping, ensuring accuracy and safety across all logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Audit the daily shipping schedule and identify conflicts, escalating them as necessary.

• Handle small-shelf and will-call customer pickups and documentation.

• Create and transmit Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).

• Generate end-of-day open sales order reports.

• Update the Daily Management Dashboard with throughput, exceptions, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Collaborate with Shipping, Receiving, Planning, and Customer Service teams.

• Maintain accurate records in Oracle ERP and Ramp ERP (training provided).

• Adhere to all EHS, C-TPAT, 5S, and site safety/housekeeping standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in data entry and distribution warehouse operations.

• Experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and document control.

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.

• 1+ year experience in logistics, warehouse, dispatch, or transportation clerical roles preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with dock operations, BOLs, ASNs, and carrier interaction.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Oracle ERP, and Ramp ERP is a plus (training provided).

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in a dock environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
