We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Wastewater Operator to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to protecting public health and the environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, valves, and control systems.Perform routine inspections of plant processes and equipment to ensure proper functioning.Collect and analyze wastewater samples; record and interpret data to maintain regulatory compliance.Adjust chemical feeds, flows, and processes as needed.Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation.Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues; perform minor repairs.Assist with preventive maintenance activities.Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing training.Respond to emergency call-outs or after-hours situations as required.What You'll Need:Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred;Requirements: Valid Driver's License in good standing; Must be able to wear a respirator.
