Sales Support Specialist – Industrial Products

Location: Hybrid — 2 days in office / 3 days remote
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Our client, a well-established industrial organization, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist – Industrial Products to support its growing international aftermarket parts business.

This position serves as a key connection point between customers, international sales representatives, and internal technical and operational teams. The successful candidate will coordinate quotations, orders, documentation, and follow-up activities while ensuring that customers receive accurate and timely information.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working with technical products and multiple stakeholders. As product knowledge develops, this individual will take on an increasingly technical role in identifying and quoting the appropriate replacement parts and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for international parts customers.
• Coordinate with international sales representatives, regional managers, and customer contacts to obtain the information necessary to complete quotes.
• Review customer requests and work with internal technical resources to identify the appropriate parts, components, and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, operations, and logistics teams as needed to ensure accurate quotations and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate freight and shipping requirements when applicable.
• Prepare documentation required to process international parts orders.
• Maintain organized records of quotations, purchase orders, orders, forecasts, and related sales activity.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and customer requests to support sales growth and timely conversion of opportunities.
• Review historical pricing and assist with estimating appropriate price adjustments when quotations have not been updated recently.
• Develop and maintain internal procedures and standard operating processes related to quoting and order coordination.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time of the quotation process.
• Assist with sales reporting, forecasting, and other internal documentation.
• Support initiatives designed to grow international aftermarket and replacement-parts sales.
• Participate in the development and delivery of training for sales-support and inside-sales personnel.
• Build working knowledge of the company’s products, equipment, applications, and replacement-parts requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, sales coordination, customer service, or a related commercial function.
• A combination of education and relevant professional experience totaling approximately 5 years may be considered.
• Experience preparing customer quotations, proposals, estimates, or pricing documentation.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, technical, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Ability to learn technical products and apply product knowledge to customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, engineered, or technical products .
• Experience with replacement parts, aftermarket sales, equipment components, or service-related products.
• Previous international sales or customer-support experience.
• Experience working with distributors, representatives, agents, or international customers.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, quoting, or order-management systems.
• Technical education or experience in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating freight or international shipments.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position . The employee will work from the company’s office approximately two days per week, with the remaining workdays performed remotely.

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business support activities.
