Bill of Materials Specialist

Description Imperial Manufacturing is looking for a BOM Specialist to join our Engineering Department in Corona, CA. Imperial is a manufacturer of high-quality commercial cooking equipment, such as stoves, ovens, ranges, griddles, and fryers. The BOM Specialist is a newly created position responsible for creating, maintaining, and verifying the accuracy and consistency of Bill of Materials for each product within our ERP system. The BOM will include a comprehensive list of all materials, components, and subassemblies required for manufacturing. The specialist will identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies within the BOM data to ensure each BOM accurately reflects the current state of each product. Requirements Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field, and/or 2+ years working in an office environment supporting manufacturing functions, including experience in creating BOMs in a manufacturing environment and experience working with a manufacturing ERP system. Good understanding of product design, development, manufacturing, and specifications, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations. Familiarity with tools and software used to create and manage BOMs, such as CAD, PLM, ERP, or Excel. Excellent communication skills. Self‑motivated and a self‑starter. Ability to work well with others and independently. Organized and detail‑oriented, with strong technical skills.
