Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patientsManage psychiatric conditions through evidence-based medication management and treatment planningDeliver care in an inpatient and/or consult-liaison setting (based on program needs)Collaborate closely with nursing staff, social workers, therapists, hospitalists, and case managementParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsMaintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)Comply with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and all state and federal regulationsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activitiesParticipate in on-call coverage as required Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residencyBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN)Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtainDEA license or eligibilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a hospital-based, team-oriented environment Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
