Concrete Pump Operator

Concrete Pump Operator / CDL DriverLouisiana Concrete Pumpers is hiring a Concrete Pump Operator / CDL Driver for our Scott location. This is a field-based position. Operators report to the Scott yard, pick up the concrete pump truck, travel to assigned job sites, and work in the field throughout the day. The operator is responsible for safely driving, setting up, operating, cleaning, and maintaining concrete pumping equipment. This role works closely with dispatch, contractors, hosemen, ready-mix drivers, finishers, spotters, and other job site crews. Concrete pumping experience is preferred. Prior CDL driving experience is required.Duties and Responsibilities:Safely drive and operate concrete pump trucks on residential, commercial, industrial, and public works job sites.Report to the Scott yard and travel to assigned job sites.Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Report equipment problems, safety concerns, or maintenance needs promptly.Set up pump equipment, outriggers, cribbing, hoses, clamps, reducers, and related parts.Check job site conditions before pumping, including access, ground conditions, traffic, overhead hazards, and power lines.Communicate clearly with dispatch, contractors, hosemen, spotters, ready-mix drivers, and job site crews.Monitor pump pressure, concrete flow, line conditions, material consistency, and job site hazards during pours.Complete washout, cleanup, and daily equipment care after each job.Maintain daily logs, inspection records, job paperwork, and safety documentation.Follow company safety rules, DOT requirements, customer site rules, and applicable regulations.Represent the company professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades.Requirements:Class A or Class B CDL required. Prior CDL driving experience required.Must be at least 21 years of age.Driving record must meet company and insurance requirements.Must be able to complete the required DOT pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical and meet company safety requirements.Must be dependable, punctual, and able to accommodate changing job site schedules.Must be available for early morning work, overtime, and local or regional travel to job sites as needed.Must be able to work outdoors in heat, rain, mud, traffic, noise, and active construction conditions.Must be able to lift, carry, connect, and handle hoses, clamps, tools, and job site equipment.Must be able to communicate clearly and work safely around contractors, equipment, and other crews.Must be willing to stop work or report concerns when conditions are unsafe.Preferred Experience:Two years of concrete pumping experience.Boom pump, line pump, trailer pump, or placing boom experience.Ready-mix, concrete truck, or CDL construction driving experience.Heavy equipment, boom truck, crane, industrial, commercial construction, or civil construction experience.Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify equipment issues.Experience working around plants, industrial sites, highway projects, bridge work, or large construction job sites.Join a dedicated team that builds lasting infrastructure!
