Emergency Veterinarian

Job Overview Heart of Texas, a Thrive Pet Healthcare community, is hiring a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian in Round Rock, TX. Responsibilities Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients in a 24/7 environment. Assess, diagnose, develop and oversee treatment plans, and perform surgeries as needed. Deliver critical care and maintain a high standard of service for every patient. Collaborate closely with technicians, specialists, and other team members. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required. State Veterinary Board License that is active, in good standing, and obtained prior to start date. Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility. Experience in emergency medicine or completion of a small‑animal rotating or emergency internship is highly recommended. Compensation PROSAL full‑time range starting at $180,000 per year. Salary will be negotiated based on credentials, experience, and location.
