Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

• Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do

As a Direct Service Advisor, you’ll work with a small group of approximately three clients in the community. You’ll help them develop workplace and life skills while exploring employment opportunities that match their interests and abilities.

• Create and coordinate daily activities focused on employment, skill development, and community participation.

• Transport a small group of clients from VIP’s office to community locations using your own dependable vehicle.

• Provide individual and group supervision in the community and during on-site activities.

• Use hands-on training and coaching strategies to help clients reach their vocational, social, and personal goals.

• Help clients explore job opportunities and develop skills that can lead to greater independence.

• Complete daily case notes and provide feedback on client progress.

What We’re Looking For

• 21 years of age or older.

• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, vehicle registration, and a clean driving record.

• Reliable personal vehicle available for transporting clients.

• Comfortable driving clients to various community locations.

• Dependable, patient, and responsible.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine interest in helping others succeed.

Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Job Coach, Caregiver, Behavioral Technician, or in a similar support role is helpful, but a passion for helping others is what matters most.
