Every day, we at Expedia get to innovate on web applications that millions of travelers use to plan, book, and experience trips they will remember forever.In This Role, You Will:Design, build, and maintain native iOS applications that are secure, performant, and resilient using modern iOS frameworks and best practicesTranslate product and experience requirements into clear technical designs (LLD, API design, data models)Collaborate cross‑functionally with backend, product, design, and quality teams to deliver end‑to‑end customer journeysWrite clean, testable, and observable code; contribute to automated testing, monitoring, and code reviewsDiagnose and resolve complex production issues, improving application reliability and performanceSafely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions while maintaining privacy and security standardsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 5 years of equivalent practical experienceProfessional experience shipping native iOS applications with ownership from design through productionStrong iOS architecture, low‑level design, API integration, and data modeling experienceProficiency with iOS tools, frameworks, testing, observability, and operational best practicesExperience collaborating in cross‑functional, multi‑domain teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience designing and scaling complex iOS architectures (modularization, performance, offline support)Proven delivery of high‑impact iOS features across multiple domainsStrong focus on operational excellence (instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, incident resolution)Experience integrating AI/ML‑enabled capabilities into mobile apps securely and responsiblyFamiliarity with AI‑driven development tools and applying AI/ML concepts to improve product quality and developer efficiencyThe total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
