Transportation Manager

Position Summary As a Logistics Manager at EMR, you’ll play a key role in supporting our business operations, driving initiatives and helping us build a cleaner, more sustainable future. In this role, you’ll have P&L responsibility, with the intent of creating efficiencies, driving cost savings initiatives, and promoting the safety culture required to meet local, state and federal regulations, in addition to company standards. If you are a hands‑on leader with the ability to influence positive change, service levels and safety initiatives, this role may be just for you! Key Responsibilities Manage expenses and explore/implement cost savings opportunities while maintaining a high level of service. Drive a positive safety culture throughout the Region and promote safe working practices. Oversee and promote excellent standards of customer service, both internal and external. Oversee the management of staff and drivers, including recruitment, training, HR functions, etc. Manage activities related to efficient dispatching, routing and tracking EMR vehicles and transportation assets. Report to senior leadership on P&L performance, operational results, and yearly initiatives. Identify process optimizations and technology integration to streamline and improve performance.
