This position is responsible for operating small forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods, contributing directly to the smooth flow of production and inventory management. The operator must maintain a high standard of safety and equipment care to prevent accidents and minimize downtime. Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and safety‑conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stack materials and products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, understands inventory practices, and follows all safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain certification). Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar warehouse role. Familiarity with industrial equipment and warehouse safety procedures. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast‑paced environment. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Working Conditions Warehouse or industrial environment. Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the facility. Requires standing, lifting, bending, and driving for long periods. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills. Additional certifications related to equipment operation or safety training. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cherry pickers) safely and efficiently. Load and unload goods from trucks or containers. Transport materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. Stack and organize products and materials in a safe and orderly manner. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or safety issues. Assist with inventory counts and documentation. Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and compliance standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or work area. Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
