Program Financial Acquisition Analyst

Program Financial Acquisition Analyst This role has the opportunity to work side by side with your federal government client on an as‑needed basis. The role includes routine analysis, assessment, and buildout of Navy program finance in support of the client's quarterly and fiscal year requirements. We need a financial analyst who can quickly adapt and learn to navigate the client's requirements, policies, and regulations that govern the funding requirements of DoN yearly budgets, specifically within Supply, Support, and Acquisition. Location: Washington, D.C. The Opportunity Continue developing your financial management skillset within federal government accounting sphere, specifically within DoN. Requires understanding of Navy financial planning, obligation & expenditure tracking, financial drills, NAVSEA enterprise planning system, various contract types, and working with BFM for timely execution of funds. You Have 3+ years of experience delivering financial analysis and management Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook Ability to create reports that reflect financial planning and execution Ability to identify financial risks early and collaborate across technical teams to develop solutions Ability to communicate financial insights effectively Bachelor's degree Secret clearance Nice If You Have Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command or Program Management Office Experience with Navy financial systems such as PBIS, ERP, EDC, NEPS, or COBRA Experience developing spend plans Knowledge of Navy financial processes and requirements development Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400 to $158,000 (annualized USD).
