You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Business Unit Operational Risk Analyst works within a given line of business to help ensure the line of business operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and per the organization’s policy. The analyst works as part of the first line of defense team and alongside the first line, second line and enterprise support units to ensure the effective execution of the Operational Risk Framework across the assigned business line.Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts compliance reviews and provides analysis of business units and processesMaintains documentation and reports to management regarding compliance and potential issuesProvides requested information to management for reporting to agencies regarding Sarbanes Oxley, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control complianceProvides analysis of the execution of our operational risk management framework, including: risk and control self-assessments, new initiative risk assessments, operational risk/loss events, scenario analysis, emerging risk identification, and front line risk assessmentsAnalyzes compliance processes and reports to management, comparing current process with identified process and policyAssists in the review of contracts, agreements and statements of workThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) years' experience in finance, risk or operations, with experience in the specific business line operationsOr High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years' experience in finance, risk or operations, with experience in the specific business line operationsSkills and CompetenciesAttention to detail Excellent analytical and management reporting skillsExcellent communications skillsOrganizational and time management skillsThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
