About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Engineering for its Commercial and Money Movement Solutions Product Development group. This strategic role is pivotal in driving the company's expansion into broader money movement flows, with a focus on commercial and B2B commerce. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader, responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy for commercial data products, B2B agentic commerce, and agent-driven pre and post-transaction value-added solutions. Essential functions include partnering with business counterparts to develop multi-year strategic plans, providing leadership to a large team of technology leaders and developers, and ensuring the delivery of highly scalable, low-latency, and high-throughput software systems. The role also involves fostering a culture of engineering excellence, security, and operational standards, as well as driving innovation initiatives to deliver a differentiated product offering. Applicants for the Vice President, Engineering position at the company should have a strong background in engineering, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field. A minimum of 12 years of work experience is required, with a preference for those with over 15 years, including at least 10 years in technical leadership and people management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large, global software engineering teams, experience in designing and engineering highly available and scalable systems, and a deep understanding of SDLC principles and Agile product development. The role demands a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to drive change management, and a talent for recruiting and nurturing high-caliber technical talent. Deep knowledge of the payments industry is highly desired, and the candidate should be adept at combining analytical reasoning, creativity, and judgment in a fast-paced, multi-initiative environment.
