Production Clerk - Pouch

The Neil Jones Food Company is an industry leader, processing superior quality fresh-packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation’s discerning food service, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

We are seeking a temporary Production Clerk - Pouch to be responsible for ensuring daily production data that is properly and timely recorded. Performs clerical duties, enters data, organizes and prepares documents, reports, and communicates information to appropriate staff. This role is located at our TomaTek plant in Firebaugh, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs data entry of production paperwork (Batcher, Filler and Caser), including Clean in Place (CIP) documentation.
• Maintains documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Provides copies of all documentation, including Form 102, Return Forms, CIP Forms (batch deck and fillers), etc., to Working Foremen.
• Research and report any discrepancies from materials in stock as needed.
• Reviews and research major usage discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Two years’ experience in an office or production clerical setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work all shift during fresh processing season 24/7 operations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, with strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Meet physical demands including standing, reaching, repetitive hand use, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching on an occasional basis to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
