Job Description
We are seeking skilled industrial electricians to contribute to various projects across Hampton Roads. You will be involved in the James River SWIFT and HRSD projects, working with pipes up to 4 inches. This role requires extensive experience with rigid conduit, aluminum, and PVC-coated pipes. Candidates should be proficient in pipe bending and must have minimal residential and commercial experience.
Responsibilities

• Work on projects across Hampton Roads, including James River SWIFT and HRSD.
• Handle pipes up to 4 inches in size.
• Utilize skills in rigid conduit, aluminum, and PVC-coated pipes.
• Perform pipe bending independently.
• Ensure adherence to industrial standards and safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience as an industrial electrician.
• Proficiency in working with rigid conduit, aluminum, and PVC-coated pipes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Licensed electrician preferred but not required.

Work Environment
The role involves outdoor work, requiring personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots, safety vests, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats. Candidates must have their own tools, including personal benders.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.94 - $42.94/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
