CM Inspector 2

Job Overview We are seeking a CM Inspector 2 to provide QA inspection support for heavy civil infrastructure projects. This role requires 4+ years of road/bridge/transportation related experience or equivalent education and expertise in construction quality for civil infrastructure. Core Responsibilities Compose daily inspection reports. Track materials for contract compliance. Observe testing of field related materials. Review quality control plans. Monitor field testing throughout the project. Qualifications 4 years of construction quality experience and/or a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; or 5 years of construction quality experience on civil, residential, commercial, or transit projects. Navigate uneven surfaces, lift up to 30 lbs, and climb stairs and ladders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with mobile computing tools including Outlook, Bluebeam, Excel, and Word. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Required specialty certifications: WAQTC, ACI, and one or more WABO/ICC Special Inspector Certifications. Ability to interpret contract plans and specifications and perform/ check engineering calculations. Willingness to travel for Western Washington per diem projects; flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and perform emergency callout/standby. Benefits & Compensation Full-time employment.
