The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Sanford, North Carolina. The role involves providing specialized care for patients of all ages in a 8-bed ICU, with a focus on high-acuity care. Candidates are required to bring their RN license in North Carolina on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Sanford, North Carolina

• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), and other required certifications must be obtained prior to start
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in North Carolina; 1-2 years of ICU experience; appropriate education and certifications; location within North Carolina; must be 60 miles or greater from the facility for travel consideration
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-acuity patients and respiratory failure diagnosis
• Additional Information: Float: Float rotation may be required, with a ratio of 1:6 patients per nurse. The unit serves all ages with patient ratios typically between 1:2 and 1:3.
• Unit Profile: 8 beds, serves all ages, patient ratios of 1:2-3, Cerner electronic health record system
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
