Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting surgical operations by preparing and organizing the operating room
• Maintaining a sterile environment and following meticulous infection control measures
• Assisting surgeons by passing instruments and supplies as needed
• Managing and preparing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Keeping a watchful eye on supplies to ensure everything is ready for each operation
• Teaming up with nurses, anesthetists, and other surgical personnel for a seamless experience
• Ensuring accurate counts and documentation during surgical procedures

Education Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary

Certifications Needed:

• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification or the capability to obtain it within 90 days of starting
