Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Full-Time

Role Overview This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in emergency and clinical settings, demonstrating independent practice and clinical judgment. The nurse assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans using evidence-based practices, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patient responses. They communicate findings effectively with the healthcare team, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The nurse assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans using evidence-based practices, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patient responses. They communicate findings effectively with the healthcare team, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Manage patient flow by anticipating admissions, discharges, and transfers. Oversee and evaluate nursing care and unit operations, including staffing and equipment maintenance. Promote a safe environment through adherence to safety practices and quality improvement activities. Follow clinical policies, maintain accurate health information documentation, and ensure proper use of medical equipment. Process medical orders accurately, interpret patient charts, and address safety concerns proactively. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency and another specialty; 5 years preferred. Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (within 30 days). Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to adapt to multiple units and manage complex patient needs. Additional Requirements Proactive and flexible availability, with the ability to work full-time shifts.
