Calendar Clerk - Chancery Court Clerk & Master

This is a non-civil service position with the Chancery Court Clerk & Master’s Office. The position title is Deputy Clerk and Master 1/Calendar Clerk . The position serves as the main liaison between the Clerk & Master’s Office and the Chancellor, and is responsible for monitoring and managing case progress and disposition. Communicate verbally and in writing with attorneys and pro se litigants regarding case status. Prepare and maintain case reports for the Chancellor. Draft case dismissal and case monitoring orders for the Chancellor. Review and process case filings into case management system. Perform clerical duties as assigned with accuracy. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
