Emergency/Urgent Care RN – 

Position Highlights

• Hiring Process: MedSol Clinical Profile Review → Unit Manager Interview
• 60-mile radius rule (Driver's License required with submission)
• Must be in-state during orientation week , even if first-day modules are remote

Facility Overview

• Free-standing Emergency/Urgent Care Center
• 12 treatment rooms
• Approximately 45–65 patients per day
• 1 Emergency Medicine Attending on-site
• On-site CT, X-ray, and laboratory

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Emergency Department experience (preferred)
• Adult and pediatric ER experience
• Experience in a free-standing or Critical Access ER preferred
• Stand-alone lab experience is a plus

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• ENPC
• NIHSS

Patient Population

• Emergency and urgent care patients
• Stroke
• Cardiac arrest
• Simple trauma
• Substance misuse
• Adult and pediatric emergencies

Responsibilities

• Emergency and urgent patient care
• Perform unit support duties
• Operate on-site laboratory testing
• Work independently in a stand-alone ER environment

Scheduling

• 6-week schedule
• Full-time nights
• Every other weekend (or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Holiday coverage based on assignment needs
• No call or standby

Floating

May float between four metro sites:

• Lakewood
• Golden
• Arvada
• Indian Peaks

EMR & Support

• EMR: Epic
• CT Technologists assist with:
  • Lab draws
  • Lab processing
  • EKGs
  • Room turnover
  • Department support

Orientation & Dress Code

• 2–3 orientation shifts
• Navy blue scrubs (CommonSpirit-branded tops/jackets permitted)
