Outpatient clinic and operating room responsibilities
Schedule Flexibility:

Clinic and OR days are open for discussion.
Coverage Requirements:

Full-time coverage of inpatient and outpatient services.
Licenses & Certifications

Required Certification:

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
Medical License:

Michigan medical license requirements to be confirmed
Board Certification / Eligibility:

Requirements to be confirmed
DEA Registration:

Requirements to be confirmed
Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Full-scope orthopedic surgery experience.
Minimum of 50 orthopedic surgery cases within the past 12 months.
Trauma experience preferred, particularly musculoskeletal trauma.
Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient orthopedic cases, including emergent and elective surgical procedures.
Clinical Responsibilities

Outpatient Clinic
Evaluate new and established patients.
Perform injections and office-based procedures.
Manage elective orthopedic surgery.
Provide emergency department evaluations and follow-ups.
Manage post-call follow-ups and full-scope outpatient orthopedic care.
Operating Room
Perform full-scope orthopedic surgical procedures.
Manage elective orthopedic surgeries.
Perform musculoskeletal trauma-related surgeries.
Inpatient & Call Coverage
Conduct orthopedic consultations and patient rounding.
Perform emergent orthopedic surgeries.
Provide general orthopedic coverage.
Support trauma care at a Level II trauma center.
Clinical Support

APP Support:

Advanced Practice Providers may be available in the clinic, depending on current patient volumes.
APP Supervision:

No supervision required.
Proctoring:

Proctoring required for the first five surgical cases.
